Ed and Nan have served in Japan as missionaries since 1983. Nan was called to work with the Deaf before they came to Japan. Ed supported Nan's Deaf ministry while serving as Business Manager of the Japan Baptist Mission. Both are now working toward the facilitation of a church planting movement among the Deaf in the Hyogo and Kyoto Prefectures. The urban cities include Kobe, Osaka, and Kyoto.
